The year 1708 held much promise for two young lovers. They would have their first and only child in Carolustadt. Lauront and Zassette Cevair were very proud parents of their child. They would name him Irix, and raised him to become a merchant like them.
It was a very mundane life for Irix, he sold goods and helped out his parents with trivial matters. By the age of fourteen, he started to seek for adventure. However he started quite small, and ended up at the Mos Le'Harmless Cantina whenever he had permission.
Due to his age, he wasn't permitted in. Irix was still found near the entrances trying to listen to all of the men gathering together, sharing their tales. Many seemed to hold true while other stories were clearly fabricated. There was one person that kept Irix returning though, a young bard that kept everyone's interests whenever he stepped foot inside the tavern.
Every couple of passings, the bard would return from his tasks and shared their own tales. Irix was quite content listening to their stories, and was amazed on how they could become the center of attention with ease.
After a couple of visits, Irix decided that he would follow suit in becoming a bard. As the seeds passed by, he saved small portions of money to purchase an instrument to call his own. Finally purchasing a lute, he would practice learning how to play it to those outside of the tavern whenever he could.
No matter how much effort he put into practicing though, his small fabricated tales often had words mixed up. He was mostly ignored for the most part, although he did receive positive attention from his parents.
While he grew up, he had little to no proper education. Mostly taught by his parents in order to have him working as soon as he could. At the age of twenty-two, he would decide to leave his old life to pursue his passion.
Going into taverns, he would look for work as a bard and begin his own journey of self reflection and wealth.
