An origin shrouded in mystery; Sonny Bishop was born as a farfolk in the southern realm of Almaris. Left orphaned, in charge of his own destiny he quickly adapted to the lonesome life of a parentless whelp. Years of roaming Almaris alone implanted a desire in Sonny that he wanted more. More purpose, more belonging, more family. He began to wander from the only place he knew as home. Traveling north through increasingly colder temperatures, Sonny struggled to keep himself sheltered and fed. By the time he had made it as far as a youngling of his age could, he was exhausted and suffering from famine. Without observation he pressed into the kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska, and upon picking up his heavy, tired head, Sonny gazed upon an enormous Tugmas tree, riddled with glass ornaments that glistened from nearby lantern lights. Smiling as he saw this as an omen of a better life, he lets out one last sigh of relief, before falling asleep at its base.
Upon awaking Sonny was approached by two strangers he'd later call kin, Erwin and Franziska Bishop.
