Xania was born to a small family in the Principality of Rubern, a place neighboring the Kingdom of Haense and the Imperial State of Oren. Having a family that was devout to Canonist faith, Xania found that she naturally fell into the life of a Canonist. Though she was always adherent to the life of a Canonist, she found that she disagreed with many of the acts the Canonist church has committed or approved of. Additionally, throughout her childhood, she found that she enjoyed cooking, working for several of the local restaurants. This led to her learning of many of the recipes common throughout the land, picking up detailed information of many of the spices found around the lands. Even as she often found herself repelled from the Kingdom Haense due to the often divisive Senatorial Elections, including, though not limited to, the recent rise of the House Barclay and an increase of their influence throughout Haense politics, she found herself drawn to a man who spent his time between Oren and Haense, Morgan Champnell. She was enamored by his looks, though she saw much more in his future and personality than her family did. Intrigued by Morgan’s ambitions, including finding a way into politics, either by way of the Duma, Senate, or working for nobles, she followed him to Haense, betrothing and marrying him after only a few months of knowing each other. Though she didn’t know what her future would hold in the land of Arcas, she was sure Morgan was where her future lied.
