Born in 1180 Yragos lived a comfortable life in a town whose name has long since been forgotten. His father a librarian, his mother a weaver. It was then during the first year of Anthos that he and his family had to move from their town to Frostfall to escape from elvish troops raiding the town. The family did not live long there before Yragos father was claimed by sickness. Yragos took up his father’s profession as a librarian and studied with everything he had, for if he was to make his father proud he would need to be his equal. Eventually the family was moved to Tar’sil, and Yragos’ mother would join his father during the journey. Yragos fell into a routine and worked at multiple libraries for 150 years before eventually being offered a job teaching at a university in Talar’ikur. For 80 years he taught and studied having to make the move from capital to capital twice, finally settling in at the university in Tahu'lareh. Here he taught for another decade before the symptoms of his age started to show themselves. He was forgetting lesson plans, not making meetings on time, and found it difficult to continue teaching. With this he decided to retire from teaching and search for a cure to his ailment, if he could teach biology, why couldn’t he solve his own health related issues. For 14 years he wandered until happening upon a man named Arnvuil, who was overheard talking about searching for cures for his ailments and others. With this he decided to follow this man, for if Arnvuil could cure himself, maybe he could cure the madness of Yragos.
