Celine grew up very poor. Her family were mainly highlanders. They lived in the more rugged areas. She always dreamt of moving to one of the more urban areas. Celine never felt like this life her. From the time she was born until she was 16, she resided in one of the minor realms. All her mother ever wanted for her, was to live a relaxing life. She wanted her daughter to be taken care of and never lift a finger. Celine’s mother went through unbelievable hardships and never wanted her daughter to go through that. Celine grew up being taught that appearance was everything. No matter what she was going through, she had to look her best. This would lead to her having some hidden insecurities that she could never express. She was never interested in school as a child. She was more interested in being a tailor. She believes a good outfit can boost anyone’s mood/confidence. Due to never being focused on school, she never got the best education. When she was around 15, her mother fell ill and would eventually die. Celine was reliant on her mother and without her, she no longer had everything to meet her basic needs. On her 16th birthday she decided to move to a larger realm for better opportunities. If she hadn’t moved she would’ve died in those harsh conditions. It was a long journey, and took almost a year. But, eventually she made it to Arcas. Celine was ready to become a heartlander. She’s resided there for almost a year and she is tired of living the life of a peasant. She still struggled with making ends meet. She hopes to climb the social ranks, and eventually become a highly respected woman.
