Backstory: Name Vertinity,
I was born in 7,16,2001 in a small village as an orphan so not really knowing what a family was, I was never adopted, I was raised by myself learned and taught myself how to fight and to protect myself if I was ever in trouble with Guards, The only friend i had was a stray dog named Tap, that soon died after 3 weeks, I am very friendly towards people and but always puts out a serious vibe but has confidence to talk to other and make new relationships.
Growing up, I met 2 people named: Oliver and Lucy. I met them shortly after Tap died and started talking to them getting to know them both, and we all grew up together and lived around age 20. Around that time we all joined the all known guild called Wither Lords, a highly skilled guild that took the front lines. Why did we join them, because we wanted to fight and protect the people that have protected us during out childhood. Years went by I was at the age of 24 while Oliver was 21, and Lucy was 23. We were assigned to a difficult task to infiltrate they enemies base to gain Intel on their next move. It was only the 3 of us who were assigned so we went to our quarters to gear up and get ready for the mission.
We set off north to where the enemies base was located, we all were a bit nervous on how this could all set off but we had a plan, I Ver, was going to be the scouter since Oliver and Lucy were more agile coming to being stealthy. Their roles were to take out the 2 guards at the main gate, then to go through the gate, sneak around back and then to sneak in through the roof, getting inside was easy, but it was too easy its like it was set up, as I scanned around I realized that the camp was cleaned out of supplies. . . It was an ambush I said, I ran down the hill as fast as I could going through the gate and opening the doors to the building Oliver and Lucy sneaked into. When I entered I saw them. Tied up and both were bleeding in their stomach area, I was too late.
I ran up to the both of them and was asking them what happened, but Oliver already had passed. Lucy on the other hand said, that when they entered the building the floor beneath them caved in and their were 2 assassins waiting for them, when they were captured that they said you have been betrayed by the very same guild that recruited you. Then they were stabbed. Lucy looked up to Vertinity, and said “Stay safe and don’t get in to much trouble while we are gone, we don’t want you getting into the same mistake we just went through.” Then she was gone, my 2 closest friends died right in front of me, but I stayed strong, and untied them and buried them, and sat there with them for the final time in my life.
So from there, I set off a new life, a life to adventure the land and find new places to visit, knowing I had nothing to go back on, or anything to go back for I was free, and I knew that somewhere around that I would find new people to befriend and protect.
