Born in New Magarah’lin, Avras started out as an unhappy child with no siblings. Raised only by his reserved father- Uikrus Lunarix who was a Temple knight part of the Order of Kheltiruai, Avras felt as though he could not properly express himself as his mother died shortly after his birth. Without a mother figure to guide him, and his father devoted to his duties, Avras took it upon himself to make himself feel fulfilled in any way he could. After lots of trial and error, one day Uikrus introduced Avras to the compulsory five year Renelian military duty that Dark Elves are required to take, encouraging him to partake in hand to hand combat and swordsmanship. During that time Avras was able to make friends and connections with fellow dark elves, there he found his best friend and ally Sornor Aleneld who he met through sparring matches. The reason they got together so well is Sornor’s similar upbringing allowed them to relate to each other, allowing Avras to affirm and understand similar beliefs, feelings, experiences and intentions.
Eager to prove himself to his father, learning how to fight and becoming a soldier has allowed him to feel fulfilled allowing him to become a confident dark elf. Because of this, one of Avras’ most defining characteristic is his resolve and willpower allowing him to make important decisions without hesitation. While Dark elves tend to not be brash, Avras frequently is willing to allow himself to be injured during battle, in order to protect an ally or to obtain an advantage. This selfless nature has earned his peers respect overtime. But, at times Avras may refuse orders or disagree with a direction making him seem like a troublemaker to some, still, he has a good heart and treats people with the respect he believes that they should deserve through their actions and opinions. However, he has no trouble punishing those that have unjustified actions. overall, he tends to approach things with a calm demeanor and composure like many other dark elves.
While he is part of the Renelian force black Ferrum-clad infantry he one day believes that he should join the Order of Kheltiruai in order to "maintain the moral and spiritual integrity of the Renelian people" ensuring the nations strength as his father once did. However one day, his admired father Uikrus goes missing for an unknown reason, was he killed or kidnapped; for what purpose? Avras sets out to search for any clues or witnesses to what happened to either find and retrieve his father or avenge him.
