This is quite literally the solution right here. Heavy regulation on who can bear firearms and shaming of those whom break those regulations.

Mainly because people are going to meta-game one way or another, it doesn’t make much of a difference to implement such a feature as there can be countermeasures created as situations arise.

What skills can you apply in your role as Staff?
I as a former member of several build teams over the last couple years have acquired a certain taste for improving anything I find out in the world and making it something awe-striking and motivating for the users. The proficient use of knowledge in design and structure as well as adaptation to distinctive situations and lore are some of the things I have picked up over my time as a builder. I have a good retentive and overall persistence in seeing tasks through to the smallest detail, most of the time attempting to do more than what is asked of me and changing it according to needs.
What is one thing you would want to change?
Well, I may as well be honest. I saw a destroyed part in Curon, this of which bothered me to the extent of wanting to do something about it, but was powerless to do so. I have sought out to form a part of your build team mainly because of the style of each build and the effort put into every one of them. This brought me to inquire the possibility of working alongside you and assisting in any way possible. Change comes with the need and if I were to say there is anything needing change it would be me. I need to find a purpose larger than coinciding into stories set with the users, I may as well provide them with places to play out their roles and contribute in that way.

Town Inauguration Event

[!] One of many flyers scattered about in the world would wander and find its way to you. Upon closer inspection it seems to be an invitation, reading as follows:
“Greetings traveller. I hereby extend this to you, being the occasion of the inaugural event of a town away from the rest of known settlements of all races. A peaceful place where one may find shelter and opportunities at a more fulfilling life should it be what you have sought, a second chance, a new beginning or simply an adventure in far off lands. There will be much to see and do within these walls. I wish for beings of all kinds to come together and co-exist, form bonds that elsewhere may have not been possible, and find oneself more comfortable with the world we inhabit as a whole. I hope to find you at the gates of town in due time and you will be welcomed with open arms. May fate guide you here safe and swiftly. -Rowan S. Mistvale”
(For anyone whom may be interested to participate, this event will be going on for the next couple of days. Town’s gate is at -2460 ~ -300. It is in the wildlands, specifying for those with SS’ing capabilities in the nearby distance. Plenty of rp spots and I’m always open for suggestions and requests to add into town. There are many unoccupied homes and several occupations available, including two markets of which no taxation will be collected for the usage. Town welcomes all races as long as no hostility is presented nor malicious intent, that said, I hope to see that this post made it well and it presents a bit of intrigue at the very least, on that note, hope to see you soon. -LW)
