Born during the reign of Aelthos II in Tahu’lareh, her parents were greeted by the miracle of her life during their later years. They were not a rich family, but they were not street hovellers, and thus lived in moderate conditions and while Lyrei was an only child, she did not majorily suffer for this reason. Her parents, having been brought up around the original Aelthos, strived to duplicate his perfection, and projected it onto their children, in which case the parents then did the same onto Lyrei – making her upbringing purely focused on being clean, being neat, looking pretty. This stems into her later routine of ‘striving for perfection’. Growing up, she had one friend, of which she has long forgotten the name, and has not had contact with since her 20’s.
Outside of this, Lyrei grew studying the art of literature, as their culture didn’t permit much usage. She found it fasinating, and though her parents would had preferred otherwise, continued on to study it into her later years. She eventually grew tiresome of this, however, and turned her attention to exploration. While her like of literature had ceased, her interest in cultures and people outside of the Princedom – another trait not eagerly accepted by her parents. Though with knowledge of the past, Lyrei scouted out of the Princedom to discover the world that had been kept hidden from her, and so negatively boasted about.
