An elfess by the name of Miralle reads over the magazine, letting out a hum. A murmur of "This'll be very useful" escapes her as a smile reaches her lips. She mentally notes to make sure she gets the next week's as well!

It would be some time before Renee Caroline de Falstaff would learn of her adoptive mother’s death. The young woman’s pale eyes filled with tears, recalling the last conversation she had with Emerentia.

The older woman had said Daniel would be proud of her, and that she was too. Letting her go with a kiss on the forehead and the gift of a violin, Emerentia had let Renee go on a five year trip with her now fiancé. It was the last time she had seen her mother.

A sob broke through Renee’s lips, hands shaking as she read the news before falling to the floor. Emerentia had done so much for her, had been the one to take her in when her family left Providence. She owed practically everything to her. The young woman’s hands gripped the violin to her chest, one of the few things she brought with her.

Before long, a numb feeling came over her. Another family member lost. A thought came into Renee’s mind, how many family members could she lose? Was it a curse? A weak, sardonic laugh escaped her lips. Practically delirious from crying, sitting on the floor a mumble of “Will I lose everyone?” came from her. Her stare became blank, pale blue eyes gaining a hardened look— almost resembling chips of ice. Before long, she got to her feet.

Wiping the tears from her eyes, Renee moved to her music room to pour her grieving through her music. Dark, gloomy songs of mourning would be heard for hours after the news of Emerentia’s death. The note her mother left her would remain by her side as she grieved. Only occasionally would the young woman leave her music room, if her fiance wanted to see her.

Sergei- Harry. was one of the few comforting presences she had. The man she loved and would spend her life. If only her mother would be able to attend their wedding. Her hands clenched into fists, another fit of sobs wracking her body. It was where her fiance would find her, hunched over her piano with her head in her hands.

Renee Ashford de Falstaff sighs when she sees a tabloid. She remembers these from the Social Season her sister attended. Light blue eyes scanned through the writing, a frown edging onto her lips as she reads the biting words aimed at the debutantes. In her own opinion, she hadn't thought any of her fellow debutantes' presentations were terrible. All of the girls had looked beautiful, but each had their own opinion she supposed.

With that, Renee went off to practice the violin.

Renee de Falstaff is excited for the upcoming Season, though she does have some worries. In any case, she begins to prepare her gowns for the events!

Renee de Falstaff could only take a deep breath as she read the letter. It had taken her time to go over the actions of her brothers and cousin. She murmured, "She's right. . They should not have done that, but they chose to anyway." As upset as she was about her kin's betrayal, she knew she would most likely have to let them go and Renee took to the piano to distract herself.

Renee de Falstaff's features paled at hearing the news. . The young woman hadn't known of this at all. She had no knowledge of her cousin being executed, not even that he was imprisoned. Her hands trembled as she read over the missive, her cousin had been executed. A small whimper escaped her, tears flooding her eyes as she threw the paper down. She didn't want to believe Daniel was dead but it seemed she had no choice. Why had no one told her?

Cecile Baelius was silent at the news, she had never gotten to meet her father-in-law. Even with what she had heard, she wished him luck in the seven skies. Her grandmother-in-law and grandfather-in-law had told her about how Basil was, tears coming to her eyes as she thought about Adryana.

She frowned, not being able to be with her husband as his father passed. It only furthered her hope for him to come back soon, getting up from her chair to clean the house in hope of Caspian returning.

Renee de Falstaff peers at the missive after it was handed to her by her brother, murmuring to herself, "This. . certainly will be interesting."

The young elfess peered at the chickens from where she stood at her Evar'lae's side, Tali'lora speaking up to query, "Why are they fat? Do you think they could make a good pet?" Her second question was more curiousity than anything.
