Eldrin was born into the Princedom of Fenn to a wealthy parents. Eldrin’s parents emphasized their great infatuation with the romanticization of battle from stories of the past, so this naturally was forced onto Eldrin himself. From the moment Eldrin began taking his first steps, a wooden sword had already found its way into his hands. When Eldrin’s parent’s returned after participating the allied war against the Concord of Llyria, they would pressure Eldrin even more by constantly sharing the glorified siege that ensued. As Eldrin grew older, he showed great promise in the military; however, Eldrin did not share the same excitement for battle as his parents did.
Eldrin’s interests belonged to what he saw to be the perfection of the female high elves of Lareh'thilln. Upon learning this, his parents were displeased. Eldrin’s parents were believers of the idea that Snow Elves reached Thill’al, so they nondiscriminatory towards other races, but they were still traditionalists at heart and maintained the isolationist mindset of favoring only the Princedom of Fenn. After a heated argument with his parents, Eldrin stormed out of the house. No longer would he allow someone to impose ideas upon him like he had endured his whole life. Eldrin decided in that very moment to set off on an adventure in search for his own destiny – and maybe a wife.
