Joseph Vanadium was born in Tahu’lareh the capital of Princedom at the beginning of the War of Two Emperors (1715) but it did not have much impact in his life at the time as they would withdraw from the war in 1719. He was the first born and only of his family. His father, Gray would die at a young age from what was believed to be murder. His mother would take no active part in his life and he was mostly raised by his grandmother Elise. There are stories told of his grandfather Jonathan about his heroic tales and his untimely death in a explosion with his best friend but he was not able to find much out about it.. Before his teenage years rolled around he would spend most of his time trying to find out about the history of Fenn but found that information hard to come by. Much like most snow elves he would spend most of his time becoming military hardened he thought but got a bad rep for being obnoxious and defiant as he did not like taking commands. He would be removed from the Military in 1731 due to his inability to follow orders. This did not effect him much however because he is very much a free sole and prefers not to think about the long term but only deal with the present as it comes. After this he would spend most of his time with his new found friend Christian who he nicknamed Caeser. for lack of a better term Cesar was very much unlike the other snow elves. He was a lightweight and very agile and wore more loose fitted clothing as it allowed him to move freely and he always wore a weird long silky scarf around his neck. This was odd because snow elves causally wore more constrained clothing. The two were never seen without each other and were thought to be brothers for longest time. Caeser was very adventures and always knew about things that nobody else even has the slightest clue about, but enjoyed making things more then anything else. Cesar would become more and more sluggish day by day and would eventually find himself at home more then anywhere. News got to Joseph, it was discovered Cesar was dying from something unknown. Joseph would see his best friend very little however during his state of decay as he did not know how to handle situations like this, elves are suppose to have long lifespans who could predict any event like this would occur. His last visit to Cesar would occur three nights before his death. He was extremely pale and looked like he was completely drained of life. They talked for quite some time and he would never forget the last words said to him. “Lifes good, but its not fair...” then he proceeded to hand Joseph a journal of his and his scarf, inside were a list of wishes for Joseph to fulfill in his place. Lost in emotion and words he took his book and left. The death of his best friend took a toll and he even though a full recover mentally and emotionally was never made he was able to get control and put the pieces of his life back together. Its been 2 years and is now 1733. He had not opened the book as it was to hard for him to and it was now a thing forgotten in time still in his room sitting on a table. We now come to the present, the death of Cesar no longer plagues him and he is able to now be out and about. When getting ready for the night he looked over at the table, a singular book on top of it...the book...he walked over and dusted it off. The memories of Cesar flooded back but he smiled. He opened it, inside was a list of bullet points. It talked about how Cesar wanted to leave Tahu’lareh and head outside of the this constantly snowy city. Joseph Immediately headed for the dock, and took a boat to wherever it would lead. The ride was long but eventually he would step off the boat into a large fortified city buzzing with life. shops, stalls, and traders seem to go on for miles. As He moved onward he runs into a finely dressed gentlemen with a large smile. Welcome!” He began. “What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? Wealth? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?”
