Easton Easton’s mother died after his birth, and he was therefore raised by his father, with no siblings in a lower class working part of his hometown, Curon. Throughout his childhood, Easton was known as the light of the town, positive all the time, kindhearted, and adventurous, almost as if he was unaware of his Mother’s tragedy. But, when Easton was just 12, his father had died in a work-related accident at the mine as well. When Easton learned the news, he was devastated, and had no idea how he’d go on, All Easton had left was the family house, and the stock that was left from his father within the house. Once home, Easton isolated himself from the townsfolk, and visited his father’s old room and looked around. A mere minutes later, he found a diary of his father’s speaking of moving to a new land, called Haense to better their lives, speaking of a giant wall of ice, miles long, and different types of people like dwarves, and orcs. Easton decided he’d go there like his father wanted, once he turned 18. However, without proper schooling, and traumatic induced negative traits such as a shortened temper, and an altered sense of emotion, Easton had no way to get there. Easton scraped by through the next 6 years, working loading ships at the dock, and apprenticing to Bartyr, the blacksmith to save money, eventually buying a horse to transport himself to the far away lands of Haense. Easton had grown to love blacksmithing over the years, it took his mind off the past and gave him a valid way to release anger and stress. One day, Easton found himself on the town’s edge, looking back at the town with an expression of sadness in his icy blue eyes, almost having flashbacks of his past in Curon, he then looked back to the road ahead of him. Wiping a single tear from his cheek, and now turned 18 he mounted the chestnut brown mare he’d purchased and rode away from Curon, he was off towards Haense, his true destination unknown, but map in hand, and as much food as he could hold in his saddle bags, he soldiered on, it was time to make his own name, and start his own adventure somewhere in the forests or mountains in Arcas, maybe with the highlanders his father had also mentioned in his diary.
