Born in the year 1748 in the city of Helena, capitol of Oren under the watch of Emperor Peter III. A only child conceived to a single father working under the title of tanner. Neither in poverty or a noble as a child, he lived a semi comfortable life. No good with a sword or a bow and all chances of a soldier out the door, he took a particular interest in the many languages of Arcas. By the age of ten deciding upon linguistics as his trade he began upon the spoken languages of the Holy Orenian Empire. With several languages upon his belt including High Imperial and Hansetian he took up a job as a junior immigration officer. The more words he learned the fewer he spoke, because of this he was let go from his job as an interpreter. Non religious and without a job he started the art of deception, and just like linguistics he found himself quite good at. He though stealing and artifice fit him well, because the separation of a so called normal profession. Never suspected or caught, he began taking larger jobs from clients. As his reputation grew so did the danger he would be found out. As he felt this danger he made another move farther out of the city in to the wilderness.
