Freya was born in the snowy mountains of Fenn, surrounded by her clan. She grew up carefree and wild, running with animals, taunting her older brother Varbour, and learning to fight from him. She learned everything she knows from the wild, and from her brother. Her parents were typically caught up in other matters, so she made do with what she had. As she grew older, the looming anxieties of working for Ivae'fenn, the military, also grew. It was a family tradition. Each elf in her family had gone off to fight, but Freya didn’t want to, her dream was to explore whatever was out there, beyond the mountains. Though in the end, she was assigned to the military, and fought for her people. Once she returned, she was not the same girl she left as. Freya was stronger, prouder, and held her ground much better than the young girl used to. As she waited to be sent out to the military again, her usual daily routine grew old and repetitive. Something in Freya longed for more, for a change. Her dream was still deep beneath the layers of stone she had built around her heart. One night, out of the blue, she set off into the world outside of Fenn, through the forests. She has yet to return home, for facing her family is something she is not prepared for. Since that day, she has seen many faces, many creatures, and many mountaintops, but has yet to settle down anywhere.
