Reyna never knew her birth parents, as at birth she was abandoned at the side of a road until a kind-hearted traveler, named Orion decided to take her under his wing. With a new child to raise as his own Orion decided to settle down in Haense upon a small farm, where he met his beautiful loving wife, Evelyn, and had two mischievous sons, Sorin and Dritan. The only thing she has left to connect her to her birth parents is a ruby red silk strip of fabric, which Reyna ties into her hair in a bow shape. When Reyna was not tending to the farmlands or animals, Evelyn taught her how to read and write, and ever since she was a little girl she was fascinated about stories of battles, nobility, and old legends. Age did not stop her curiosity about the world and all the mystery it holds, as one day she dreams of exploring all kingdoms, realms, and empires of Arcas, especially wanting to go to the Grand Library of Dragur. She also is very close with her two brothers who both have dreamed of being soldiers for Haense. This taught her various skills in self-defense mainly with a bow. Even though Reyna tries to avoid violent situations she knows how to protect herself if need be. Though Reyna does come from a religious family, as their beliefs are with Canonism but due to her opportunity to read all about other realms and nations' beliefs, she chose not to believe in a religion but respect all. At the age of 14 Reyna began experiencing struggles with her identity and the past she knows nothing about, such as why was she abandoned or who were her parents, were they looking for her now? She found it difficult to learn acceptance with the fact these questions may remain unanswered forever. Eventually, with support from her family, she found peace with not knowing and learned to focus on the future, not the past. The village Reyna grew up in was a small one meaning everyone knew everything about everyone. To some families, she was seen as an outcast and didn’t belong there. This made making friends challenging but that never broke her spirit. Unfortunately, this did make her vulnerable as when she did make new friends, she was overflowing with excitement that she would go along with anything just to fit in. Usually, she ended up in trouble doing something that she shouldn’t. At the age of 19, Reyna still struggles with knowing when to not trust someone.
