Clarissa, her mother, was 16 when Leah was born in the Kingdom of Haense into a family of Heartlanders who worshipped in the Church of Canon, to which Leah still worships today. Her father, Edgard, left and Leah and Clarissa didn’t have a good relationship, but Leah managed to study, educate herself, and grew to be a smart and loving girl. When Leah was 7, her younger brother, Ari, was born and Leah was the one who raised and cared for him. Leah taught herself and Ari to read, write, enjoy music, art, and more. Her mother died when Leah was 18 and left her and Ari. Leah and Ari went out and tried to become sufficient members of society, but generally failed to do so. Leah and Ari were alone but managed to meet a few people. Leah was extremely protective of Ari, due to not having anybody else in her life, but when Ari disappeared when Leah was 21, things started to get really hard for her. She kept trying to talk to others, make friends, and find people to support her. After she was unable to do so, at 23, Leah decided to move, not knowing where to go, in hopes to make a new start.
