Thide was born in the mountains on a bed of pine needles, at least thats what his family said. his parents were short and he had no one else to confirm the truth. His father condemned modernity but would drink himself with any drink he could by from passing travelers. Thide thinks this is where it started. He used to run off and follow his father and get a glimpse of the outside world. Thide longed for this, to be with people of all religions, races, and creeds. by the age of 16 Thide ran away one night after another dinner of water and drunken talks with his father. Thide new the traveling route now and he followed it all the way to a town. He knew nothing of the townspeople so he went from town to town to town trying to find a living, but who hires somone who is dressed in hide with no shoes and rumors follow him of becoming a bear. Thide, against his better judgement, began to steel and do chores for local crime groups. People tend to want to talk when there is a bear present. After Thide had spent two years going from town to town, he decided he was not going to become like his father, drunken, and always mean and angry this is where we are now. A man-bear who is good at what he doesn't like to do and many crime groups know it. WE will see if he can run from his past in a happy go lucky fashion.
