You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?))
Kiera hesitates, but does as she's told and takes a seat. "O-okay, I guess I'll start from the beginning." She solemnly begins her story, "I was born in to a family of wood elves, but at a young age they had abandoned me in a forest. I never learned why, but it no longer matters. I spent most of my time in the wilderness, but I was soon discovered by a ranger," she smiles as she remembers her guardian. "He took me in and taught me how to defend myself and survive in the wild. For the next several years, I learned how to live with the animals and to coexist in harmony with nature. I would have been happy to remain in the wilds, but I dream of a life full of adventure and excitement." Her eyes light up with the idea of adventure and she gives the old woman a bright smile, "So now I'm traveling to learn more about the world."
