Theriadis was born not far outside the main wood elven city, in a small cabin with her mother and father. When she was very young, an elven civil war broke out in the main city and her father was called to serve in the fight. She doesn’t remember much of her father, just that he never returned to them when the war was over.
Theriadis’ mother was a healer and raised her well, bestowing wisdom of healing practices, the Wild Faith, and surviving off the land. When Theriadis turned 17, her mother became very ill. She spent her time tirelessly scouring the forests for herbs and traveling to cities nearby to find an experienced healer. Even with the knowledge her mother taught, Theriadis wasn’t able to save her. Her mother died after a year of failed healing and rituals, leaving Theriadis on her own. After that, she took off to the roads, doing everything she had to do to survive.
At times, she got involved with the wrong people, bandits and criminals were her usual company, one of them she became close with. Fraeya, a kind, but troubled wood elf that had a skill for thievery, was a good friend of hers along the way. But, when the inferi invasion broke out, they were separated, and Theriadis stowed away on a halfling ship to the new place they call “Almaris.” There, she is back on the roads, searching to make a home for herself in the new vast land.
