Aleera Tiamat was born in New Reza 21 years ago in 1776 to poor parents named Gogira and Fillion Tiamat. She was an only child. Her family and her hid in a small hut in the middle of the bustle of Reza and her father Fillion sold food in the markets. No one knew her family well until the city officials found out her family was hiding there. They began to tax her family and which they couldn't afford. Overtime, her parents received threats that if they did not pay they would be removed from the city, and they continued to refuse because they could not afford anything more besides the food being put on the table. One day when Aleera was nine, a man of higher status came to visit her parents and made a deal that her father would work and do deeds (involving killing bandits and other folk) in order to earn money. He accepted the position but one day, her father was killed when going to execute a local thief. Gogira went to the streets and began to riot against the city for not doing anything about the matter when later that night, someone came to the house and killed her in her sleep. Aleera woke up to find her mother dead in her bed. She wept but realized she needed to leave, she then packed her father's dagger, and mother's journal, grabbed some food and left. She wandered for a while for about a year and became very sick, and laying on the side of the road dying, a man took her in and helped train and raise her. This man was apart of the bandit group the Hanged Men. They taught her to hunt, steal and helped her identify the problems with the empire. The man took her in as his own and when until she was 18, while she was welcome to remain apart of the group she decided to leave to set a new trail for her own. She made it to Helena but was then evacuated to the Eye of Man with the rest of the city and got on a boat to sail for a new world. Aleera is now making her way towards Providence to roam the city.
