    (going off of wiki info, with what I could piece together on the forums) Zorm was born to goblin parents beneath San'strok in the Rexdom of Krugmar in the Snow's Maiden. Growing up, Zorm was weaker than any other kid he knew. Playing in the streets, he always lost the games they played and came home with scrapes and bruises. With his father upset at his lack of ability, his mother doted on him. Despite the pain and hardship, Zorm found solace in the tinkering and building that the goblins did so well. He sneaked about listening to others teach how to make or watched them build war machines. With this knowledge, he became more and more isolated from the people around him. Feeling defeated, Zorm felt alone aside from his mother. As a young teenager, his parents left with a small raiding party. In a small assault, his mother was killed. After the raiding party got back, his father would not tell Zorm how it happened, but said that it was an honorable death. Soon after, he found books from the looted belongings that were brought back to San'strok. Sneaking a few away, he became entranced with the culture and world outside of the walls of the settlement. During this time, Zorm would see his father look more and more disappointed at him - the gaze weighing heavily on Zorm. Crumbling under the pressure, Zorm decided to try and make his father proud. Building a small crossbow, he showed his father who finally looked proud of his boy. For the first time, Zorm connected with his dad. Feeling proud, his father praised his son around his friends who then started giving the boy actual lessons in the construction and tinkering of mechanics. Zorm took to it like a fish to water, quickly growing in ability and comprehension. As he continued to build machines, weapons, and explosives, Zorm finally felt like he fit in. Finally, at 20 years of age, he began official work making war machines. Making machines full time, Zorm found it nice that he could actually connect with the people around him. Despite his newfound place in society, Zorm still felt empty inside. With time, this feeling would continue to grow even as his father kept opening up to him. At the age of 34, he was invited on his first raid. Enticed by the idea, he made tools, weapons, and machines for the entire group. Zorm set out with a small raiding party of 16 to ambush the road leading to the elven settlement of Principality of Aegrothond. Lying in wait, Zorm checked everything he had before he heard the scouts come back saying that they spotted a caravan incoming. Getting into position, the caravan came near their position when the explosives went off. First, the caravan descended into chaos as the orcs charged into the fray. With the battle ongoing, the bloodlust of the orcs got the better of them, taking full victory of the caravan except for the remaining kids and those who surrendered according to the Codes of Krug. Zorm, once the bloodlust lifted, looked back on the carnage and vomited his stomach out at the sight. Breathing heavy, vision darkening, Zorm almost fell unconscious before a large hand slaps him awake. The orc tries to comfort Zorm, but Zorm does not hear it. Taking their spoils, the orcs pack up and leave to move to their next location for the raid. And so it continued for a month with Zorm's only escape being the books he found. Finally, after the month of raiding, the party returned to San'strok and Zorm immediately retreated back to his workshop and did not leave. His father, worried for him, came to check on him but was met with silence. Breaking down the door, his father saw a broken goblin - one without life in him. His father, not knowing what to do, tried to talk to him which resulted in Zorm retreating further and further. So, this continued for 2 years, with Zorm's father coming less and less as he lost hope for his son. At the age of 36, Zorm, with no place of comfort, decided to leave San'strok. Tired of the bloodshed, tired of the loneliness, tired of the guilt, Zorm left in the middle of the night for the Principality of Aegrothond. Hoping to find a way to redeem himself, Zorm moves into the lands he once plundered. Wanting a way to help others instead of butcher them. Hearing of a form of artificery known as golemancy, he hopes to learn and use it to make machines of life.
