Kumbula

As a young boy, Kumbula learnt that he may not be the strongest, nor the bravest, nor the smartest. but he was always the most loyal. Having been raised on the edge of the Orenian Empire and the Kingdom of Haense, he never felt like he knew where he truly belonged, but always knew that a man who was forced to bend the knee, would only rise with a stone in his fist. It was here that his father taught him the values of not being forced to swear an oath, but rather choose who deserves it. That said however, his father would rather throw Kumbula to the wolves than ever have him joining the ranks of the Orenians. During his childhood, at the age of 8, he had already learnt the way of the sword and with his fathers guidance, he became a squire of a petty lord in the region, a lord to this day he refuses to say the name of. It was from here that he learnt how to fight amongst the ranks, as well as survive in the wilderness. Just 10 years later, as he was becoming a man in right, he followed his lord into battle, serving as a trusted commander of a small division of troops. It was here and during one of the harshest winters that he learnt that his family had been put to the sword, not by the enemy. But rather his lieges household troops. All because their was not enough food to be spared. This send Kumbula into a rage, and in the middle of the night he made an attempt to slay his master. As he was about the put the man down, he was apprehended by his battle brother, someone who he thought he could trust, and because of his treachery he was sentenced to death, but it was only due to his experience in the war and his loyalty up until this moment he was spared, but instead to spend the rest of his life locked away. But several months later, the war was over. His former master, someone who he had relied upon, and the man who ordered the death of his family. Had lost, he was banished from his kingdom and all prisoners were released. It was here that Kumbula swore to hunt down his enemy, and finally enact his revenge.
