-The Beginning-
The Cross Household was made after crossing into the gateway and landing in the new world. The Household and others became the pioneers of this new world. They stuck to the old beliefs and they helped forge the world. Though the start of the household was only guessed from books that the Aegisian high elves found in the ruins. They started a new Cross Household to continue the family as honor of their accomplishments. This "new" family continued the traditions made by the "old" household. The household helped build and shape The Silver State Of Haelun'or with many others.
-Parents-
Riel Cross, the Head of the Cross Household, found Havla Leriel wandering in their residents. Havla was visiting with her older sister at a business meeting. Havla's sister, the head of the Lereil Household, was meeting Riel to discuss the changing government since the Azorella Reformation of 1771. She was scared that their trade with others would be tampered with. Riel informed Havla's sister that they would be fine and to welcome the change. After the meeting is when Riel found Havla in his personal garden. Riel fall in love with the sight of her, which will later cause great pain. Havla and Riel fell in love, though what Riel didn't know was that Havla was also in love with a human. At first Havla was just curious as past generations hated their impurity, she soon realized it was love. Havla was a pure high elf and would shame her family if the thought ever came up. So Havla married Riel and had Vixen. Though 14 years after having Vixen, Havla was still in love with the human. She would leave for months on end to secretly meet up with him. Later Havla became pregnant with a child. Riel knew she was cheating as they didn't have the time to make a child. Havla later told Riel the truth. Riel was beyond furious though as Havla was pregnant he did nothing. Havla continued to meet up with the human and 4 months later the child was born. Havla had the child in the company of her human lover as Riel wanted nothing to do with it. The birth was successful and the human lover went to tell Riel, not knowing his hatred. When Riel saw the man, he killed him. After a day's rest and no sign of her lover, Havla took herself and the baby to Haelun'or. There she met the blade of Riel sword on her neck. Riel killed Havla for her treachery and took the child. The child was a boy and as Riel always wanted a boy, Riel named him Naertho Cross. Though even with Naertho being a boy, he was still half-human. After Havla betrayed him, he took the old traditions and increased them. Riel hated the impurity.
-Vixen's childhood-
Vixen was a curious child like her mother but she bonded more with her father. Havla was never a stable mother figure in Vixen's life. Vixen knew her mother was cheating even as a child and she could see her father becoming depressed because of it. So Vixen was always around her father and helping him. She would also be the heir to the household and thought she needed to start early. Vixen was always pushing herself to be better and to have better results. She was also pushed by her father as he did wish for a boy. When Vixen was 15, she overheard Havla confessing to Riel about her betrayal and was furious herself. Vixen started to hate her mother and wanted to be nothing like her. Vixen later told her father of a plan. "Kill them.." At first, Riel thought it was too extreme but later sided with Vixen after seeing Havla leave again. Vixen thought her father would kill the baby as well and was mad when he took it in. Vixen hated Naertho at first but soon realized how her mother fell in love. Naertho cared for others and showed no fear. The caring trait Vixen developed after watching over him. Riel hated Naertho and blamed him for everything. Vixen knew better that the deaths of both their parents had been her idea. After turning 19, Vixen took over the Cross Household and started to travel leaving it in the care of Naertho, whom she trusted.
