Darklight got born on a little farm in the Holy Orenian Empire. He had loving parents (Marcus and Riana) and two brothers (James and Romano) and one sister (Starfall). His biggest dream was to become a farmer, even though his parents wanted that he gets a better job in a big town.
At the age of 5 the family got raided while they were selling their products at the market. The farm got burned down the only animal that survived was Darklights dog, Winston. Nobody was hurt but they lost everything. His dad nearly fell into a deep deprssion but his older brother James managed to get a job for himself and their dad. He enlisted into the army while their dad got a job at a little Tavern.
From that day on James was a hero for Darklight. Every time he came home he trained him and the other brother Romano. Darklight wanted to be just like James. As soon as my Romano was old enough he enlisted into the army too.
At the age of 10 Darklight met a Wood Elf. He watched him train in the forest. After some converstion the Wood Elf showed Darklight his archer skills. He was impressed and the Wood Elf said that he would teach him BUT he would have to swear that he would never raise his sword against a Elf just because someone tells him too. Darklight thaught about it for a moment and agreed. He never reached Elf archer skills but at the age of 12 he had the skills of an normal talented archer that has been in the army for about 5 years. The Wood Elf became a very close friend and thaught Darklight about the history of the elves and the history of the Country. Darklights most favourit topic was the Phoenix Revolution. After listening to all the storys he changed his last name to Phoenix, but he only tells that close friends.
After everything the Elf thaught him, he didnt wanted to join the army anymore. The Elf thought Darklight one thing and he keept this two words close to him "Power corrupts". Sadly it was the truth.
As Darklight got 17 his brother Romano got a promotion in the army. My brother James who joined first always declined the promotions, they wanted to give him. James wanted to stay close to his camerads. Romano didnt decline...he accepted. Romano started to change, demanding things from Darklight and his sister Starfall when he was at home. At first it where small things but in the end he threw them out of their home so he and the other genarals could have a party there. Darklight got very angry about that change an at the age of 18 he left his home. He told his parents about it and his sister. To his older brother James he wrote a letter as he wasnt home at the time.
Darklight did what he always dreamed about: The elf who thaught him about archery also gave him a map of the kingdom. For the next two years he walked to all the differnt elve Kingdoms making friends. Darklight also went to the differnt Human kingdoms and two dwarf kingdoms till he had enough of walking around. He decided that he want to make himself a name, Darklight felt ready to gain power even though he knew it would be pretty hard to not fall for the coruption. He also wanted to make a shop and maybe start a family. Darklight wasnt sure if he could combine both of this desires but if one of those two would be a sucess his life would have been a sucess.
