He was born of a wood elf mother and a dark elf father, this resulted due to his mother cheating on her husband with a dark elf. The dark elf genes are more powerful than his wood elf genes so he looks like a dark elf. His mother was divorced and ostracized in the village and her shame fell even heavier on her son Malichor. Malichor would grow up tormented and bullied by the wood elves in the village, and would start to hate his existence and would especially resent his mother. He would find a lady name Anaha who knew that he did no wrong for his birth was not his fault and she would educate him because the villagers wouldn't allow him to go to the school their children went to, she would become more of a mother than his real birth mother. He would learn of Availer who was revered by the people of his village, however he resented his fellow villagers and the man they worshiped believing that this man must be as terrible as the people who worshiped him. In his entire live he has never seen a single race other than wood elves, the only dark elf he had ever seen was himself. In fact he was surprised to find out other races existed besides his own, he hoped that those such as the dwarves and the humans would accept him and think of him for his character and not his race like his village did. It was through his learning of the kingdom of Haenesi and their fight for independence that he to wanted to gain independence and leave this village. The most important thing he would take away from Anaha would be the stories of illusion magic, which interested Malichor greatly. These stories would be the reason for his quest to seek out people who know of illusionary magic and to have them teach it to him. He would soon set out from his village at the age of 22 and the story would then start from there.
