Brok grew up in Morsgrad with his father and Mother. His fathers name was Leif and his mother name was Eline. Throughout Brok's early life from age 0 to 8 his father never allowed him to speak but his mother was teaching him how to. Brok was taken on hunting parties across the north with other boys his age and he began his passion for it by age 9. When Brok turned 10 his father took him to the capital of Nordland, Varhelm, to buy him his first proper bow. It was a man-sized bow and it took Brok to the age of 16 to finally wield it. Throughout that time his mother had taught Brok about the many kingdoms of Middle Earth and how to bow to nobility and fight tyranny. When Brok turned 17 he was as big as his father and confronted him by saying "You old retched fool, I can speak better than you". His father entered a fury and a Brok rose to challenge him. Eline returned home just as Leif had the upper hand and was ready to kill Brok but Eline sacrificed herself and distracted Leif, Leif put his blade through her Belly. Brok with new found hate immediately stood up and through a frenzy of slashes killed his father. After the adrenaline had passed Brok realized what had happened and wept for his mother. He took his bow and quiver, and with his fathers gear he left into the wilderness.
