Loriac was born in the Kingdom of the Elvenessse. There he was educated, yet spent many of his hours either learning the ways of the bow with his friends or studying over the ancient histories of other nations. He finds the history of his people dark and disturbing, as his own parents lived to observe the demands of the Emerald Dominion. Although Elves live a high code, he frowns upon those who would not associate with even impure elves, as the most real threat for him is a nation that destroys itself in its bloodlust. Loriac seeks to protect the peace, and is grateful to live in a time when the Mali are united under the Dominion of Malin. Although he is grateful to Tristin Tresery for what he has done, he is skeptical and fearful of greed and corruption. He fears Trisitin will demand too much and another war will break out. In his Younger years, Loriac once almost drowned in some rapids, and was saved by a friend, who himself died in the process. To this day, he wont talk about what happened, but finds immense value in the life of his friends, and gets tense when revisiting the memory. He hates that he often hurts people with what he says by not noting how they might feel to hear the truth, as he is so smitten with it. He is constantly looking after answers to difficult questions.
