Simon Midwell is the middle child of John and Cas Midwell. He has a 10 year older brother (Max) and a 1 year younger sister (Bambi). They grew up in the kingdom of Norland in the capital stronghold Morsgrad in a small house. During childhood his brother was always studing and trying to become familiar with the arcane, and that left Simon as the person that had help his dad, who worked as a carpenter, with all of his daily chores. He grew up following the religion of the red faith but he was never very religious. The only friend that Simon had during childhood was his sister Bambi, but during their teens her mind became focused on becoming a soldier. Something that was very rare to see for highlanders. When his brother moved out and his sister had her own goals and ideals, he started to go out and drink regularly. a few years later, one drunken night, he was at a tavern around closing time. The barkeep asked if he wanted to taste a new brew that he himself had made. It both smelled and tasted horrible so Simon, in his drunken state, challanged the barkeep that if he could make a better tasting brew he would get a job as the new bartender. Not thinking he could loose to a drunkmans bet he accepted. As the contest was finished some monthes later Simon stood victorous. Now with his new job. He now spent his time serving brews for all types of folk in Morsgrad, ranging from the odd wanderer to soldiers and heroes. And loves it. Simons brother Max moved to the kingdom of Haense to further his knowledge of the arcane. His sister now works as a street guard in Morsgrad.
