Markov Etchson was born in 1774 in the Kingdom of Norland inside of his own, very minor clan of Etchson. He spent the first six months of his life in the Capital, but soon moved to rural life. Due to the circumstances of the Sutican War being waged, he was raised in a nationalistic and militant environment, causing him to become proficient in hunting game for the economy of his family. At the same time, the constant praise and affection he got would establish a self-absorbed attitude. His main weaponry included the use of longswords and being able to shoot archery at a decent level. As he was in his mid adolescence, he was savagely attacked by multiple beasts in an hunting accident, which caused him numerous scars physically and emotionally. This incident made him change his mind on a career solely on hunting and gathering, and instead he went out to pursue a more scholarly or political career once he got the chance. He's considered an outcast for this very reason as Norland is a warrior based culture.
Once he turned 21, he would proceed to move back to Varhelm and began to study into business and obtain knowledge. His ultimate goal is to establish himself in Norland and unify the entire nation under a 'unbreakable banner'. He also wants to expand into a political career and potentially rise the ranks of Red Faith in scholar and judiciary roles. While he put much of his past behind him in order to look into the future, Markov uses his past identity and life as a means to advance his goals and counter anyone who tries to oppose his or his superior's goals.
