Traxus is a Waldenian man, the son of a blacksmith. Growing up Traxus performed labor in his father's local smithy, as he was learning the craft to pursue as a future career. This has lead Traxus to be able to create weapons and tools on demand when given the equipment and materials. His parents died due to an illness leaving Traxus alone at age 16. Following this, Traxus took up the mantle of the family's smithy. However, in this time he developped a very short temper with customers. Whether it be as an extension of his grief, or simply a boredom with his station, Traxus became known as a talented, if angry smith to the locals. All this changed however as Traxus was forced to flee his village during the course of the Scyling War, taking sanctuary in the city of Reza, shortly before its siege began. To his surprise, Traxus found his cousin, Dietrich in the city, and stayed with him during the duration of the siege, losing his uncle, Dietrich's father in the process. In the aftermath, Traxus followed Dietrich on his search for purpose afterwards, and has remained at his side since.
