Teal was born into a small village where his family lived as farmers, though he never really had the same interests as hid family wanting to explore the world and become a nomad. Though that dream would be halted at around age 12 when his family was attacked by bandits killing everyone at his home except him as he hid under the bed. After the bandits left and he saw the bodies of his family he felt rage, sadness, and fear all at once grabbing a backpack, some basic supplies (food, water, and a knife) and ran away from home. Finding himself at Talon's port he passed the port and wondered the realm . Years later Teal is an adult and is prepared to finally proceed with his dreams of being a nomad going to the Cloud Temple (which is where his story picks up.
