Ub was once a reasonably-feared warrior from a small settlement in the mountainous regions of Krugmar. The creature spent his youth struggling with olug bullies for survival. Eventually threatened by a particularly egregious band, he fled his town into the harsh light of the outside world. Nearly dead, Ub lived for five years under tree and stone, eventually managing by suspicious means to tame a wolf. He would eventually return to kill his tormentors before taking his place among the his groups raiding parties, dreaming of rivalling the brutal wargoth clans in martial prowess. After a decade of various scrapes, Ub, along with a friend, took a tumble down a cliff in pursuit of a caravan of farfolk spice merchants. After a miraculous survival, the goblin has undergone a personality change having sustained severe brain damage. Unable to remember his old life. and devolving into an addled glutton, our slimy hero has fashioned a new home in the dark caverns below the same cliffs he fell from, awaiting unwary animals and men to prey upon. Occasionally, guided by his comparatively genius buddy , the goblin sets off on a quest for treasure or food further afield. Rarely do these plans bear fruit, but so far the two have survived. He worships the bad moon, and is a part of clan Shrogo, although largely because the moon's round shape reminds him of his own impressive gut.
