    Matthias Caerme’onn’s amber eyes well up, tears that have fallen astray dotting the paper. Despite being a hardened cynic, something that has changed since he had last seen his old, now-late friend, this strikes him in the heart. “May you rest among those you love, oem’ii. It was an honor to know you.”

    The paper is neatly folded and set aside. He stands, lighting a candle in remembrance of a life-long friend, now gone. He saw Cypress as a child, and now he has passed… as is the curse of the elves.

    Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

             

    A Sorvian is a fabricated entity similar to a flesh golem that wears a porcelain mask. Despite initially having been created to serve their masters, Sorvians developed a sense of self. While many are focused on serving their creator (with differing levels of loyalty), some are compelled to wander the world in search of knowledge. As they remain immune to time (although still suffering from weathering and lasting ailments that have yet to be fixed by a Sculptor), they are free to pursue either their assigned purpose, if they have one, or learn more from the people around them. No matter their thoughts about or relation to their master, they must go through with any given commands, no matter how much they disagree with it. They will, however, do everything in their power to preserve their masks, even sometimes running from or resisting their master if they fear it's in danger. This protective instinct over the mask overrides a master's commands.

    Sorvians have much higher pain tolerances than other beings, however, they are unable to mend naturally from injuries and instead need a Sculptor to repair the wounds, though said repairs will never be as good as the original body. They can even lose limbs in combat, though all that causes is a dull ache and the loss of that limb's use - Sorvians cannot bleed.

    Sorvians see out of their masks' eyes and talk out of their masks' mouths. Their senses, for the most part, are comporable to that of a normal human.

    Some important things to note is you cannot FTB or be involved in sexual actions with or as Sorvians. Sorvians possess a fraction of their creator's soul, and as such, cannot learn things like types of magic that require a soul. In addition, a severe wound to the torso can result in the Sorvian 'bleeding out' as its life forces leave it, and a decapitation would result in instant death. Sorvians' masks can be remade by their original maker and once added to a husk, the body will mold itself to its old form. Sorvians are ambidexterous and have similar strength to an average human.

    It should also be noted that Sorvians have flesh of clay and skeletons of wood.

    Nepenthe's mask is sculpted to look similar to tree bark, with two sharp eyes peeking through and a small, nearly-indiscernable mouth incorporated into the natural texture of the bark.

    Sorvians tend to be clad in robes with their masks frequently being their most distinct feature. Other than that, they maintain a mostly human-esque stature.

     

    Alor, in particular, has a bear mask, which is their most identifiable feature. Other than that, they could look like most average people in robes wearing a mask.

    Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

             

    The Kharajyr are feline humanoids, created by the daemon Metztli. After a series of horrible experiments that spanned over centuries, Metztli created the first Kharajyr, a white humanoid ocelot of pure blood. The Khas deem that the phase of the moon that a kitten is born under determines their path in life, and that it determines a trait they have. They gain a title of either Si', Sa', or So' upon completing a trial at the age of 15, and the average Kha usually lives to around 150 years of age.

     

    The Kha'Leparda have brown, yellow, or cream fur that can have spots. They are the 'jack-of-all-trades' of the Khas, not being too proficient nor terrible at any given thing. They have a height (usually anywhere in the 5-foot range), weight (of 120 - 160 for a healthy body), and posture similar to humans. They lack unique markings unlike the other subraces.

     

     

    If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look? 

     

    Si'Brilyu is a somewhat tall Kha'Leparda, standing at a solid 5'8. He is of slim build, not much muscle even for an average Kha. He is clad in a few thin robes and wears one boot to protect his right foot (from an incident in which he stepped on hot metal by accident). He lacks any special markings on his fur, including spots. He is usually seen bearing a friendly expression and appears to be in a good mood most of the time.

    Matthias strolls into the Caerme’onn manor and tilts his head curiously upon seeing an opened letter unfolded on the commons table. He walks over, amber gaze shifting over it slowly, and his lips form into a smile. “How exciting! Now… time to find wedding gifts.”
