Lordroc was born into this world 78 years prior in the Grand Kingdom of Urguan into the Stormheart family.
In early years, he followed his father in learning the trade of blacksmithing, while his mother bore the responsibility of teaching him everything else.
His upbringing was simple and consisted of roaming the halls of Urguan, never venturing out into the world.
On reaching adolescence, Lordroc took an apprenticeship at a famed blacksmith in the city, spending 20 years perfecting the art.
It took Lordroc 8 years to create his masterpiece to elevate him from apprentice status; black ferrum pitted battle gauntlets.
On presenting it to the Master Blacksmith, he was allowed to start the elevation ceremony in the Urguan guild halls.
As the judges ogled at his work, he was blessed with an ancient masterwork cane handed down from generation to generation of blacksmith heroes.
The final rites was a prayer; hold the cane to the sky and chant the final dwarvish rites.
Upon receiving the cane though, Lordroc severely misjudged the effects of centuries of age on an object, and immediately shattered in his grip.
After the dust had settled, he was disbarred from the blacksmithing guild and never surpassed apprentice.
Lordroc left the Kingdom he called home, carrying nothing but his apron, cast iron gauntlets and the immense weight of shame in which he accrued so quickly.
