Kadmus Jorn is a bastard of some noble family he doesn't know. His mother a common *****, could barely feed herself. Much less a babe, so he was sent to his fathers house, and was taken on as a errand boy, and eventually a squire. Unfortunatly for him, his time as a squire was short lived, as conflicts grew within the house. Eventually, his father sent him to the army when he was old enough, to work for them. Kadmus was lucky, he learned how to fight from a young age, and was lucky enough to be a bastard, which could get him a place in the lieutenants of the kings army. As he aged, he learned many a valuable lesson, such as sleep with one eye open, or never be on last watch. One day, he was assigned to the walls defending a small village to the north, he was unlucky enough to be caught in an attack from a raiding party, which most of his men fled from, except a few. Those who did stay died. Except for Kadmus, for some reason, he survived much to his sorrow. After that day, it was nothing but ale, women, and an occasional job from the job board. After years of this, he became increasingly irritated, by something, he new not. Till, he decided, adventure, that's what he would do.
