Born from wedlock, in the Holy Oriean Empire, Phoenix Augustus Averell was a bastard to his poor, carpenter father and wealthy mom. His mother hated him, which made him the people pleaser he is today. His father loved him. He was self-taught with books around his mothers house, which made him smart enough to get by. With his mom being abusive, he developed scars, though he made sure they weren't seen by his father when he went to his home. As growing older, he and his dad grew closer. Once reaching 18, he had to leave. His mother didn't want him and his father couldn't afford him. He ran away, since he knew that leaving his dad face to face would be impossible for him to do without bawling. He headed south towards the Eastern Forest of Curon and built himself a little hut out of wood, learning it from watching his dad. He resided there until he went into the main city to finally get out of be in isolation, after all he missed the sight of people in general.
