Iyiera is a wood elf that, for most, has lived the simplest of lives. Through her birth and through the first few decades, she has enjoyed the life of a well-kept wood elf. Among other things, she had many friends. She had no siblings, and loved her parents dearly. Through these first steps of life, she has encountered nothing of significance, and through her 40's, she assumed everything would stay that way.
On a certain star-lit night, in an unexpected hunting journey led by her father, 47 year old Iyiera was scouring the forests of Elvenesse for prey. They were accompanied by some of the other members of her Seed who were looking for something to do in the most uneventful hours of the day. During this hunt, she met a young wood elven man with the name of Ullora. She spent a lot of her time in the hunt with him, catching animals and sneaking after prey alongside this newfound friend. Once the short-lived hunt came to a close, she had taken him for love interest. During the travel home, she talked with Ullora about a plethora of things, chatting and bickering, laughing at each other's jokes. Soon, she began feeling like she had met her soul mate. This, however, was cut short with the end of the active day for the wood elves as sleep swiftly took charge.
When night turned to dawn and morning rose, she immediately woke up in order to meet Ullora again. She looked around the settlement, but just like Malin of The Wild Faith, Ullora had disappeared. She asked around her Seed and to many around Elvenesse all day, but nobody recalled the name. She soon realized that, either she was delusional, or this Ullora had completely disappeared without a trace. She spent the next few years of her now-complicated life searching for any clues regarding this person.
More years past, perhaps tens of years, Iyiera was still looking for this fated soul mate. She felt broken at this point, slowly giving in to her exhaustion. She began dreading that life never had things that were "meant". At some point, she will give in. But until then, she has chosen to travel, and to find Ullora at all costs. Maybe someday she will settle down and come to terms with her own reality. Maybe not.
