Coming from a faraway island nation, born into a coastal city-state, scimmia had always loved to explore and fight, receiving training. He sailed with his father as was a common trade for his city-state, relying on fishering and trade. He was always extremely curious about what the rest of the world hid, hearing wild stories as a child from the various sailors that flowed in and out of town. These usually were about dark and mythic creatures, or mysterious realms. Following a traumatic event, he left his family and home behind to sail out far and search for meaning and the usual.
