Kristopius was born to a slightly above average wealthy family. From an early age, he was trained to mine, craft, and otherwise amass wealth for the family. Upon reaching young adulthood, Kristopius set out to find a new land where the dwarves had not yet mined so deeply. In his travels he has amassed, and subsequently lost, wealth; never quite finding that one place to begin a new colony. He has entered this new realm in search of that colony, and more importantly the wealth he so desperately craves, the curse of Iblees at its heaviest.
When first coming to these new lands, he first set out to see the city of Kal`Varoth, to see more of his kin for the lay of the land. As glorious and expansive as the city was, Kristopius couldn't help but leave to find something to call his own. Leaving that geat city to the mountainside, he continues his journey. For now, he roams the mountains, searching for a place to lay deep roots made deeper by the pick and the axe.
