Roland Mango-Beard was born in the southern lands of the Kingdom of Norlands with his parents, Peter and Anna. Growing up he chose to be out in the wilderness more and more. While growing up, Roland learned the language of Old Norlandic from his elders to allow him to commune with older members of his community. This allowed him to be a favorite amongst the older population for his dedication the the ways of old. When he finally reached adult-age, he went out on his own to earn money to send to his family. His preferred form of entertainment is story telling around a campfire along with performing on his drum. One of his most prized possessions is metal axe, the same one that he as had for many years. His does at time go traveling with other folk, but as soon as he feels like the time is right he will take his leave. He now is traveling the norther parts of Norlands to gather wood to sell along with trapping any small game he can get.
