Vuln is actually only half dark elf. Born years ago in Arcus Vuln, to a couple in Urgan, his mother being a dark elf named Leyun, and his father that of a cave dwarf named Sipian. He was raised there along side his half-brother Runas Steelflame and taught many things such as weaponry training from his mother and blacksmithing from his father. There he faced constant beratement by any wood or High elves he came across. Through all this he continued and eventually he found himself caught in the Mushroom Spores that took over Arcus he managed to flee with the dwarves and his mother on a ship to Almaris. Eventually the began to settle down in the new Urgan of Arcus. With this all happening around the time he was 40 he would begin to now branch out in this new land and began to make quite a few friends although he attempted to avoid and elves he came across if they were not dark elves like himself. He would continue his training until he was 50 then reaching the age of maturity and although he was only half cavern dwarf and resembled a dark elf more than a dwarf he was accepted into their community as one of their own. It was around this time that he began to go out and enjoy the perks of the city such as gambling. He found himself with a degree of greed that made it where any time he saw a chance to gain more he took it. Now he is 69 and with his brother trying to adventure.
