Taldur is a Heartlander born in the impertial city of Providence who later decided to live his life traveling through the different kingdoms of Almaris solving mysteries and helping people who crossed his path. His father Jorah and his mother Luciane taught him everything he needed to live with the nobility, but like any good Heartlander once he came of age, he was trained for combat; however, it was never his best quality. His mind, on the other hand, was arduously trained after spending much time studying books on strategy, history and books about the great deeds of the great heroes of mankind. Arts such as sculpture, music, painting and literature were his great mentors throughout his childhood and to this day he continues to appreciate the beauty that exists within these. He learned to play the flute when he was a child and this instrument has been his loyal companion since he began to wander around the world. Religion has never been his forte as well as fighting, but the need he feels to help his fellow man leads him to understand how important religion as the Church of Canon can be to other people, whether they are of nobility or not. Reading about the Holy Orenian Empire used to entertain him while studying as mush as possible, so he's wishing to learn more about the history of the Empire while traveling throughout the realm. At the beginning of his adventure he met what he believed would become his brother in arms, Grendil Thornwell. All this faded after Grendil betrayed him while helping a noble family to recover an old family possession, and he decided to knock him out taking all the credit after months of investigating the area and searching for clues to complete the mission. After this event, Taldur decided to close his mind, soul and heart taking with him the trust he could place in any stranger, locking himself in a shell which he believed would be his greatest shield against any betrayal that could happen again. Despite this, Taldur has found people from whom he has absorbed and learned new tools which make him a better servant to anyone who needs him.
