Grokey grew up in a small bandit camp, one that traveled the world in search of riches and battle. However when Grokey was young, the group found a priceless artifact. And one by one, the group began to turn on eachother for it. Maybe it was magic, maybe it was greed, maybe it was that deep down they were all corrupt. Grokey didn't see it coming, and to this day has no idea how it happened. He watched as friends, parents, teachers, everyone turned. All for some stupid artifact, one that he still knows nothing about. He did his best though to hide it, and now wanders the world, learning from others as he goes, too afraid to try, but hopes to one day regain that feeling of safety and companionship he assumes he has lost forever.
