Born on a little farm in The Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska, Sten was already destine to be a farmer. His father, Jack Mordai, was a soldier who fought in the siege of New-Reza for the kingdom only to retire with his wife, Mary Mordai to a simple farm life. Sten's childhood was one raised in happiness, interacting with the animals and helping his father in the familiar farm. The farm was located near a small village, however, the village had no school so Sten was home schooled by his mother. Having only a few friends, Sten spent most of his time in the farm learning about animals, his mother's lesson's and his father knowledge of the land. During his teenage years, his father decided to give him swords lesson's so that if he was in trouble one day, he could defend himself. However, Sten's peaceful and innocent life was a bit shaken the day his father was attacked by a wild bear when he was searching wood. Managing to survive the encounter, he came back to the farm. Unfortunately, the injuries he had made him quite weaker and he couldn't do the farms chores anymore forcing Mary and Sten to do them instead. The busy labor of the farm made Mary not have the time to teach Sten more lessons. It's also during that time that Sten was mocked by in the village due to his lack of intelligence and making him quite insecure. During his 18th birthday, Sten received his father's sword, Jack only accepted to give them in the condition that Sten needed to always be honest and respectful to others, and to only use it in emergency. Sten accepted and worked harder around the farm to make his father proud. During his 19th birthday, this time both of his parents gave him a gift which was a lot of gold to make him go adventure the world which was always the dream of Sten. Sten was overcome with gratitude as he knew he could finally see the world by himself. After packing his stuff, Sten had tearful goodbyes with his parents and then left to see more of the world.
