"I was born the outskirts of New Maraga’lin to a young blacksmith and his wife. Due to my appearance, they cast me out and left me to die on the streets. That is when I finally lost all belief that Luara was merciful. I had to spend the first 14 years of my life stealing coin and trying to survive. I was eventually adopted into a family consisting of an elderly veteran, his wife and his young son who was slightly older than me. I guess he saw that I was suffering and decided to take pity on me. The son came up to me one day and out-of-the-blue asked me if I wanted to spar with him. I accepted and he soon defeated me, saying "With a bit more training, you might've beaten me". Over then next 3 years, I received a basic education from the elderly man's wife while training with his son in my free time. At the end of the 3 years of training, I decided to put my skills to use and became a warrior for hire for the following year up until now."
