Eliven Loreghein is a woodland elf of 19 years. She was raised in Aegrothond by her family. Her father, Galanheim Loreghein, was a well-known wood sculptor. He always made Eliven figures when she was younger, and taught her to appreciate the wood, not feel guilty for using it. Her mother died in a tragic accident with fire, but in life she appreciated her surroundings- but she was somewhat of an alcoholic. She never laid a finger on anyone, but Eliven was wary of her. Finally, Eliven's younger sister was named Tanyth. Separated by two years, the girls were close due to their mothers departure. Like any woodland elf, she found herself drawn to nature. More specifically, trees. Their swaying branches, home to many creatures, and their expansive knowledge fascinated her. She often found herself talking to them. Eliven studied under her father. She was provided plently of literature, and his ancient knowings of the gods. She became enthralled with said deities, building her first altar to them at age 8. Of the Mani, she found herself drawn to the Steed, focusing a large portion of her worship with them.
She was 15 when her mother passed away. She was very discouraged for a period of time afterwards, falling into a depression for a good 6 months. When she finally got out and about, she found her passion for life again. Living in the kingdom of Aegrothond, the practice of medicine was encouraged. She tried her hand at it. She was not unable to do it, but she prefered to be with her bow and the trees. Although, when put into the position of healer, she mainly depends on herbs. With permission from her father at age 18, she set out to explore the world around her.
Her relationship with fire causes her to be at war with herself often. While she's proud of her ancestry, she finds it hard to love the fact that such a gruesome force is connected to it as well.
