Reirhi’s mom was a high elf from Haelun’or and her father a Southeron from Soutica. Despite living in Soutica, Reirhi’s father’s family were very against Southerons mixing with other races due to the dwindling population of Southerons. Despite trying to raise him that way, Reirhi’s father was enamored by the many different types of races in Southeron. His dream was to travel the world as a trader so that he could meet all kinds of beings. He came from a family of merchants so they weren’t suspicious at all. As soon as he could, he left on his adventure, leaving his family behind. He seemed to always be on the move, never settling down.
Reirhi’s mother was a tall and beautiful high elven woman who was able to sympathise with the other races, whom high elves often look down upon. She encountered Reirhi’s father and immediately fell in love. The two bonded over the shared curiosity over unfamiliar races. It was very important to keep their relationship a secret. Reirhi’s mother was to be married in an arranged marriage with another high elf. The two often escaped the city for short periods of time, meeting in secret locations to spend time together. After a month of doing this, Reirhi’s mother decided to run away for good with this human and get married in secret. She had also gotten pregnant. The two left for the countryside past the mountains and began building a humble home. Almost immediately after Reirhi was born, her mother’s family had found them and were set on killing all three of them, as they were seen as shameful. Reirhi’s father took her and ran. Her mother tried to reason with her family but was killed anyways.
Reirhi and her father lived in the woods, far far away. Reirhi grew up sheltered in a humble but happy household. She wasn’t allowed to go far due to fear that her father had. He had given up his adventurous life to protect his daughter, which was definitely worth it. Her father told her stories about her kind mother and the world. Despite not remembering much about her, Reirhi loved her deeply. Reirhi loved cooking and spending time among the wildlife in the woods. Her dream is to open a bakery where she can make many people happy with her baked goods.
One day, Reirhi’s father told her to leave without any explanation. He had never told her how her mother died. Reirhi was confused and cried out, pleading to stay, but her father forced her to go. He knew that the elves had finally found them once again. They couldn’t be seen together. He knew that if Reirhi left before reaching the house, they wouldn’t think she was his or his wife’s daughter if they were to find her. Reirhi left confused and afraid. Now she's wandering the lands, destination unknown.
