Jo was born in a small village of poor and rich, the village was very close to Haense's foundation is rooted in the first settlement of Raevir in Hanseti- namely in Ayr, Hiebenhall, and Drakenborg- during the waning years of the Schism War in the 1490s, when the ruling Waldenian kingdom began to crumble and Raev kossak bands took control of a vast majority of the country-side. Vanderfell, the capital of Aesterwald, would fall in 1492 to officially end the Schism War, and in its remnants a puppet state was formed under a Hansetian governor known as Otto Heinzreich. However, the nobility was almost completely replaced by newly arrived Raevir lords, such as the Barbanovs and the Kovachevs, and eventually Otto Heinzreich would be later succeeded by a Raev himself, Karl Barbanov. Karl reorganized the state, forming a true ducal realm, and it was decided to be called ‘Haense’, after ‘Hanseh’, from the biblical name of the Joren’s first and capital city during his conquests of the northmen. Karl therefore became the first ‘Duke of Haense’, a title which has suck upon the Barbanov familial holdings for generations.
Jo was born the poor part of the village. He was born on the same day as another child in the village and they had become friends instantly because their parents were friends. His friends name is Xander Vizla.

Jo Grew up in an obviously old and ruin down home with his parents Kyle Kermen and Susan Kermen. During this time Jo Started to learn to how to sneak around, fit in small gaps and run fast because he was always stealing food from the richer people in the village. Jo was never caught even if only 3-5 . When Jo turned 6 years old his parents were able to pay for him to go school since while his parents were working and buying clothes and thing for the family, Jo was getting food to feed his family. While Jo was in school he got bullied a lot and they gave him the name JoKer because to the bullies he was so poor it seemed like a joke.

Jo Continued to get bullied in and out of school for the next few years. In school he learnt how to speak better and some simple things. When Jo was 7 his friend Xander stole two swords from his father and they started practicing their sword skills on some nearby trees honing their skill to the best a 7 year old could. Within his 8 year of life Jo started to make friends with this one kid that he didn't know named Cooper. As time went by Jo, Xander and Cooper started venturing into the woods for fun. But one day when Xander had to stay home Cooper and Jo went behind the richest families home where there was this bridge that went over a river, the river at the time was dried up quite a bit. Cooper said they should go over and look over the edge of the bridge so since Jo trusted Cooper they went over and he looked over the edge. But for some reason Cooper wasn't then when Jo looked back Cooper had started running right at Jo and Pushed him over. Jo fell into the river hands first, Jo managed to live but had to live with this big scar on his left hand. After this event Jo Stopped talking to anyone except his parents and his friend. Xander.

Jo started to practiced the sword more with his friend Xander they became the best swords men in their village and started have duels with other and was acknowledged as the youngest defenders of their village and while Xander was still better at the sword than Jo, Jo still had something that Xander didn't he was faster and was smarter than Xander meaning that Jo still could defeat Xander 50% of the time. When they turned 14 they were given the best blades the village could get Xander got a titanium blade with tungsten carbide edge. While Jo got a blade that was made of a special material called Cobalt-Blue-Steel it was fast and light was was one of the best blades the village had seen. When Jo and Xander turned 18 they decided to leave to venture out to The Kingdom of Haense. 1 week before they left Xander had a talk with Jo about how everyone called him JoKer for being poor and a joke for not having a job but that even if the name originally meant something bad that to be honest he felt that is was the coolest name he had ever heard. Apart from mine of cause he said laughing, they both laughed for a while before getting ready to leave. They left the Village with Smiles on their face ready to see the big world. All the kids that bullied him Screamed "See you JoKer you failure" Jo Looked Back and yelled back "Thanks for the great Name You All Gave me it's the coolest name you'll ever hear". The kids all had faces of shock and horror as they heard the voice of the kid that never talked.
(Btw Please Can I have My Cobalt blue steel blade that doesn't really exist. I came up with it because I love the colour Cobalt Blue and I wanted to be a blade and while you could technically have a blade made of cobalt it would kill you with poisonous gasses it releases but for my character life can it not kill me)
