Astinio Niocane was born in Osanora to a small Caelian family. He was named after the father of his father, Astinio, who was a great commander of Caelian legions. His parents have long tried for a child and Astinio was said to be a miracle, thus his parents greatly cherished him. When he was born, his father made a feast and invited all Caelian warriors to celebrate his son’s birth. His father was a warrior following one of many self proclaimed Caelian leaders at the time, and his mother was just a simple housewife. He was a child that did not differ much from other Caelian children; he liked riding, hunting and brawling with the other children, but most importantly, he loved the idea of becoming a warrior like his father. Once the chaos ensued and ended in the Osanoran cantina, his family like many others fled Osanora in fear of being persecuted by the Hyspians who had come out victorious in the dispute. His family decided to go to Haense, where he spent the rest of his teenage years. He spent a lot of his time in Haeseni taverns – wasting his young life and mina on the bottle. This way, Astinio opened the pathway to an alcohol addiction in front of himself. Dissatisfied with his current life and of drowning his sorrow in alcohol, he finally decides to do something with his life. He is now 22 years old, ready to pick up his blade and make his ancestors and descendants proud.
